Sienna Francis House Meal Serving

One of the many meaningful missions we’ve missed during the pandemic is serving dinner to the guests at Siena Francis House. SF is now allowing volunteers to again serve meals, three times a day.

The Mission Committee would like us to return to our pre-Covid routine of supplying a crew of 8 volunteers to serve dinner on the first Saturday of every month from 4:15 to 6:15, serving three shifts of guests; duties include preparing the food service area with drinks, utensils, napkins, “plating” meals onto trays and distributing trays to guests, maintaining dining room cleanliness and sanitizing tables and chairs, between sittings.

Youths ages 12 to 18 are welcome to serve; however, a parent or guardian must sign a waiver prior to their first volunteer shift.

As of this writing, a mask is still required for all diners and volunteers. This may change by the time the date of service arrives.

Our first service date is June 5!
