Summer is here! It’s that magical time of year when we start to come out of our winter “hibernation” and enjoy friends, the outdoors, sunshine, and more. Summer also brings many opportunities here at Hope for people to volunteer and help with ministry and outreach.

First, our Annual Garage Sale is coming up June 23 – June 25. This event is organized by our Mission Committee to help fund projects such as our VBS, food backpack program, youth mission trips, and much more. Volunteers are need the days prior to help receive and sort donations for the sale as well as to assist with the sale. Check out the Mission page for more information and for the link to volunteer.

As of June 10, we’ve switched gears with our summer children’s programming. Instead of 5 nights of Vacation Bible School, we’re going to throw our Bible Block Parties! Last summer these were a hit with games, activities, a bounce house, and more! Watch for more details coming soon, including how you can volunteer!

There are also other ways to help out at Hope. Whether you’re a new member or you’ve been here for awhile, we welcome you to contact any of our elders to see how you can become involved.
