You Are Welcome Here!
Our Faith Formation Ministry at Hope exists to live out our mission. “Loving God. Loving All People. Living in Grace.”This is a faith community in which we live out the teachings of Jesus.
Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” – Matthew 22:34-40
At Hope, we are a community that gives people the courage to live out the teaching that Jesus gives us in this passage from Matthew. We do that by offering experiences, learning opportunities, and a safe place where having questions about your faith is not only accepted, it is encouraged.
You will find your place here among our diverse congregation. All are welcome!
Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. – Matthew 19:14
Through our children’s ministry opportunities, we support family worship as well as children’s faith formation. Whether it is during our Sunday morning classes or our summer Messy Ministry program or in the pews in worship, all ages are welcome at Hope Church!
“It feels like there’s no judgement.” Fiona Jackson Cusick, Middle School Youth Student
Often it’s difficult for young people to find their place in this world. At Hope we work to build a welcome and open community with our youth to help guide them along their individual faith journeys.
Through Sunday morning Faith Formation, Sunday Youth Group, and other experiences, our youth are afforded the opportunity to choose their own path while building empathy for the paths of others.
