Worship-Joy/Full Series

Pastor Mike will be discussing the book of Philippians in an 8-week series titled “Joy/Full.”

The overarching theme of Paul’s letter to the Philippians is to thank them for their gifts, with additional purposes to exhort and encourage them to righteous living. The words “rejoice” and “joy” occur a combined 16 times in this letter! It is remarkable that joy should be repeated so often when Paul, the writer, is imprisoned, and the readers are facing serious opposition. Paul, in a less than desirable situation, truly urges the Philippians to live with joy regardless of the circumstances.
