In the Beginning, God Created – Faith and Art Class

Join us for a contemporary Christian education class of painting, praising and praying lead by Arlene Theitje.

Come join us for 6 weeks of watercolor painting, explore your God-given creativity, appreciate and praise the beauty God has placed all around us and conclude with prayer. If you can dip a paintbrush in water, you can learn to enjoy watercolor. No experience, no talent required.

The first two sessions will focus on Genesis 1 as we create a painting celebrating the creation of the world and reflect on these grand words from scripture. The next two sessions will focus on the words of praise from Psalm 95 and in the last two sessions we’ll work on a painting from your own photo and your favorite Bible passage.

Supplies will be provided or opt to bring your own. Invite a friend. Watercolor and the word of God are for everyone, male, female, young and old. Come relax, fellowship and enjoy. Thursday evenings beginning Sept. 5 – 7:00 – 8:15 -ish.
