Statement of Welcome and Affirmation
Hope Presbyterian Church is a welcoming, inclusive, and affirming congregation. Our mission statement to love God, love all people, and live in grace reflects our desire to be faithful to Jesus and his commandments to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Therefore, we actively embrace all people: every sexual orientation, gender identity, age, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic condition, those of all physical and mental abilities, all household compositions, and those of diverse political and theological backgrounds and beliefs.
We invite those who desire to participate equally and fully in the life, ministry, fellowship, worship, leadership, responsibilities, and blessings of our church family to join us.
Even as we celebrate this posture of inclusivity, we acknowledge that we must continue to learn and grow as we discover how to live out these convictions as a church. Whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey, you are loved, you are worthy, and we invite you to join us in the worship, service, and mission of Christ.
