Stewardship
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." -1 Peter 4:10
The Stewardship Committee is responsible for taking prudent care of the resources God has entrusted Hope Church with, and in particular, the disposition of our financial resources. We plan and execute the annual pledge drive and budgeting process, working diligently with each ministry elder to best accommodate the needs of their ministry, in alignment with Hope’s mission statement. We implement processes and procedures for handling money and investments and we regularly prepare and share financial reports that reflect the financial health of our church. We also try to help the congregation grow in their faith by creating awareness of opportunities to give of their time, talents, and treasures. We strive to use our skills and abilities to operate and make decisions in a transparent manner, always taking a long-term view of the resources in our care.

Who We Are
Hope Presbyterian Church is a welcoming, inclusive, and affrming congregation. Retrospective
The budget of Hope Presbyterian Church provides the means by which we carry out our work and mission statement. While we have multiple and varied ministries, we categorize them here for simplicity in four broad areas: Mission & Outreach, Faith Formation, Community, and Worship. Our budget for these ministry areas includes our staff salaries as applied to their ministry focus and call. In all these areas, we desire to love God, love all people and live in grace together. We also desire that our ministry reflects Jesus' call in Matthew 25: to welcome strangers and care for the vulnerable. In 2026 our budget is $444,685 and we are working hard to apply that effectively. We invite you to prayerfully consider what your pledge will be for 2027 and join us in continuing hopeful ministry!
Mission & Outreach
At Hope, mission is one of the ways we put our faith into action by sharing God’s love with our neighbors. Through partnerships with La Concepcion in Nicaragua, Neihardt Elementary, the Salvation Army Winter Night Watch, and other organizations, we join in work that serves people and strengthens communities. Our Pantry of Hope helps meet practical needs close to home, while events like Millard Movie Night and our annual garage sale create opportunities to welcome and connect with our community.
Faith Formation
Faith is something we continue growing into throughout our lives. At Hope, children, youth and adults learn, ask questions and deepen their relationship with Christ through classes, Bible studies, nursery care, confirmation, youth group, mission trips and more. We help people discover their God-given gifts and grow in faith so they can share the grace and love of Christ in their everyday lives.
Community
At Hope, community means creating spaces where people are known, cared for and connected. Through Sunday fellowship, game nights, fellowship groups, special events, home and hospital visits, and practical care during illness or grief, we build relationships and support one another through every season of life. We want Hope to be a place where everyone can find belonging, friendship and care.
Worship
Worship shapes our relationship with God and the way we live each day. On Sundays, we gather for prayer, Scripture, engaging preaching, the sacraments, and a meaningful blend of traditional and modern music. Our worship invites people to bring the fullness of their lives before God while being renewed for the week ahead. We also continue investing in livestreaming so people can worship with us wherever they are. Together, we seek worship that is vibrant, welcoming and connected to everyday life.
